28 weeks

12 weeks left! I hope it goes by fast because I'm starting to crave things I shouldn't. I really really really want to drink Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee 3879823 times a day. Don't even suggest decaf, I need the caf!

I bought Keith tickets to the Syracuse Beer Fest, which we attended today. It was definitely fun for him. I was prepared for some comments on my pregnant condition, and I definitely got a few weird looks! The men seemed to understand right away. I had many guys tell Keith what an awesome wife I was for being his DD and accompanying him. Anyway, he had fun and I'm glad I got to get out of the house.

This is one happy man!

I don't feel this big! Pictures are not my friend!

A few other things came in that I had ordered Lia:

How could I resist these? Finally, a purchase Keith can't roll his eyes at.

Newborn picture hat! From another Etsy designer. It's really soft and cozy.

27 Weeks

Hello Third Trimester!

Today is September 8, I'm due December 8, the countdown is on! 91 days to go! I hope it goes by fast because we're pretty much ready for Lia to be here. I saw a small display of Christmas decorations at Big Lots yesterday and it made me so happy!

Keith comes home tonight from his 2 week labor and delivery rotation. I missed him so much & my bump did too. It's definitely gotten bigger since he left. I bet he will have lots of advice for me since he's seen so many babies being born while he was there.

I keep looking at her little profile on the ultrasound pictures. Keith & I agree that she looks a lot like me. It will be fun to compare our baby pictures with her when she gets here.

I found a cute zebra print cart of drawers for her room as well as a zebra crib sheet....

Louie cannot figure out what all this is for

Nursery

Keith masterfully put the crib together and I think it looks great! He's still in Elmyra doing his labor & delivery rotation, so I'm keeping busy by getting the room together. We don't have an extra bedroom to make into a nursery, but our master bedroom is huge, so she will share with us!

26w3d

I went to see my doctor this morning and he gave me an ultrasound to check my fluid levels. Lia is still very much a girl! This is great news since we'd be heartbroken if she wasn't what we're dreaming of - not to mention she has a complete wardrobe already. Everything looks nice and healthy!

Keith got to come home for 24 hours, so we got her crib! He put it together like a good daddy would and barely cursed once (maybe 4 times total). I'll post some pictures later, but here's the ultrasound pictures from today...

3D view! She's got her left hand on her forehead. She's in deep thought!

I love her!

My ultrasound technician loves feet shots! Me too :)

She has her hand on top of her head like a little monkey

26 Weeks

Week 26 is the last week of the 2nd trimester. 14 weeks to go before we meet baby Lia!!

Keith is doing a labor and delivery rotation in Elmyra, NY for 2 weeks. It's about an hour away from our house, so the school is putting him up in housing. I hope he learns lots to prepare for his baby!! He gets to come home tomorrow for the day, but has to go right back for another week on Monday. I miss him sooo much! To ease my boredom, I decided to make Lia a pretty mobile for her crib.

My mom gave me the idea for the moons and stars

I love how it came out, but pictures don't do it justice

24 weeks

24 weeks today, 6 months! A little over 3 months before Lia makes her debut! According to my sources, she is getting some pigment to her hair at this point. I think she will be a baldy, but we shall find out soon enough! I wanted her to have a really pretty outfit to come home from the hospital in, but it will just be so cold, that I think I will just go for comfort over beauty. Here's what I have:

This fleece monkey outfit is perfect for the .9 mile drive home from the hospital. It's maybe the softest outfit I've ever felt. Newborn size is just mindbogglingly tiny. I <3 it!

I have a ton of hounds-tooth clothes,  so she can match me :)

This is my mom's new favorite outfit for her.

Another cozy set
